The Glass Boy Project

This autumn, a group of our Upper Key Stage 2 boys helped create a brand-new play. Across six fully funded workshops with actor and director Jon-Luke and actor Jayne, from Theatre Hullabaloo, the boys used drama, games and discussion to explore feelings. The workshops were inspired by The Glass Boy, a short play about how people who are hurting can sometimes hurt others. The boys also contributed real ideas for characters, locations and storylines, which will feed into the play’s development over the next two years. We’re incredibly proud of their honesty, creativity and courage, and we can’t wait to see where their ideas take the story.
